How am I supposed to juggle working from home with child care/home schooling?

How can I stop my children from constantly fighting when we’re all right on top of each other?

Will these past months of isolation and home schooling be harmful to my child’s schoolwork?

I can’t seem to stop snapping at my partner and children. What do I do?

Parenting can be tough at the best of times. But parenting in a pandemic? Who could have prepared for that? Even for the most seasoned parents, the last few months have been challenging. As schools across the country are welcoming students back and restrictions are easing, some of the pressures of COVID-19 may be fading but struggles like nervousness, anxiety, and concerns about social distancing are far from over.

That’s why world-leading parenting expert and founder of the internationally acclaimed Triple P – Positive Parenting ProgramProfessor Matt Sanders, has launched the ‘Parenting in a Pandemic’ TV and podcast series.

Parenting In A Pandemic

Parenting In A Pandemic TV Series & Podcast

Featuring guest experts from across the parenting, family, mental health and child psychology fields, these popular series aim to provide parents with a trusted voice, while offering real, actionable advice to help parents and carers steer their families through these difficult times.

Not only can you gain strategies and support to navigate these uncharted waters by tuning in, the Parenting and Family Support Centre is offering any parents and carers of children aged 2-16 years old the option to participate in a short evaluation study and have a 1 in 50 chance of winning a $20 Coles/Woolworths gift voucher for their time.

Taking Part In The Study Is Voluntary & Anonymous

This study will be evaluating the helpfulness of both the Parenting in a Pandemic podcasts and TV series and will help inform the development of information or intervention materials in the future. Taking part in the study is completely voluntary and anonymous but parents and carers can still listen to the podcasts or watch the TV episodes without joining the evaluation.

So if you’re wanting to gain some great parenting in a pandemic tips while helping evaluate an important study and have the opportunity to win a gift card, all you need to do is follow the link and complete the brief survey before you tune in to each podcast or TV episode. After two weeks you will be asked some brief follow-up questions.
