Canberra Youth Theatre

Canberra Youth Theatre is for young creatives aged 7–25 who are passionate about theatre and the performing arts. Our focus is to help you express yourself. Since 1972, we have provided high-quality productions and training courses with a focus on individual expression. We develop young artists to create inspired theatre. Our community produces intelligent theatre that is inspired by you – the youth of today. We challenge you to find your inner voice. We want you to be heard.

Each year, we produce a season of theatre productions with young people at their heart. We also offer weekly workshops, holiday programs, and training courses that empower young people to find their voice, explore the craft of performance, and tell their story.
