MSO Live: Kids Marathon

Following the success of its premiere, the Kids Marathon will return for an encore performance on the MSO Facebook page on Saturday 11 July.

Don’t miss this online musical adventure across the globe! The MSO Kids Marathon is a celebration of music making, conducting and creativity.

Children can take part in activities, interactive music-making and stories from different countries and cultures across time.

The Marathon begins with a musical acknowledgment of country, recognising Australia’s first people, and ends with a look at Holst’s journey into the universe with The Planets. Along the way kids will be entertained with conducting workshops, drawing to music sessions, instrument making and interactive concerts.
