As parents (or expectant parents) we are often bombarded and overloaded with information on various topics throughout pregnancy, prior to pregnancy and what’s best when parenting! Whilst most advice is given from family and friends with good intentions; it can be outdated, overwhelming or incorrect.

Let’s face it, at the end of the day we all want to do the best when it comes to parenting and taking care of our children; trusting your intuition, your maternal instincts and sourcing current parental information that is important to you from expert professionals is key.

  1. The LATEST parenting information & education given by leading experts all under one roof!

Each year Brisbane hosts the Essential Baby & Toddler Show over 3-days, this year it is presented by WattleHealth services. I remember my first time attending the Brisbane show; I was so excited to attend, ready to learn! I mean, I’d read a few baby books (mostly baby name books to be honest) prior to attending but I really had no idea what to expect.

The great thing about this parenting event I found, is that it is the ideal place for parents & and parents-to-be to seek and source the latest parenting information, newest trends and products in one location – and it’s totally FREE! I loved the welcoming environment and being surrounded by like-minded people. I do recall ‘waddling’ around with pride chatting to other mums, dads and carers. The experts were all so friendly and approachable and educated me on new information for me to consider – I really felt like I had ‘found my people”!

  1. 1-2-1 free advice sessions available to you; where you can personalise your consultation to suit your needs

The beauty of this wonderful show is that it supports parents with every bit of information and education you will need to support your parenting journey. What I love is there are free 1-2-1 advice sessions available at The Advice Hub; perfect for those range of feeding, sleeping, birth plan questions and so on. That’s ‘Parenting Gold’ in my eyes!

  1. Surrounded by over 150 stalls filled with the latest products – making viewing, sampling & purchasing a breeze!

The show is packed with THE latest leading brands and on trend products from all over the world; literally everything your baby & toddler would need and more will be there! Love n Care, Bugaboo and Silvercross to name a few!

This year will also see a NEW introduction of the Beginners Guide live forums, covering a wide range of topics like a healthy body & mind , returning to work and toddler tantrums!

  1. A great family outing filled with educational and fun activities for the whole family

The Essential Baby & Toddler Show is the perfect day out for the whole family, regardless of what stage you’re at in parenthood. There will be free samples to enjoy and try, a great selection of expert speakers and a whole lot of fun activities for the kids to enjoy as well! If your kids are Peppa Pig and Ben & Holly fans; they will be spoilt with live performances and meet and greet opportunities all weekend.

  1. It’s FREE – to avoid disappointment please ensure you have registered early for your free ticket

I know how much baby & parenting information, advice and products have changed since having my first and second child over a 3 year gap, so when I found out I was pregnant with my second child – my husband and I happily toddled off to the next Essential Baby & Toddler show, this time with a bigger bump and a energetic toddler! Again, I wasn’t disappointed and felt that I was updated on a few changes and some products that made my parenting journey even more comfortable. I even received a few handy tips (and made a couple of purchases) to assist with some “Toddler moments” that worked like a charm!

If you are an expectant parent, considering having a child, have a new little addition, adding to your tribe or a proud owner of a toddler, I strongly recommend you attending this year’s Brisbane show which is being held at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre from 15th-17th March 2019.
