What’s On 4 Kids Awards Terms and Conditions of Entry

Terms and Conditions

The promoter of these awards is What’s On 4 Kids.  ABN: 55 763 933 812

Nomination Process

Nominations are open to all Australian registered businesses and companies that offer children’s activities, classes, events for children or provide venue/party services and products as defined by the award categories in Australia.

Nominations can be made by the business owner, employees/coaches or a community member.

Companies and individuals may be entered in one or more categories.

The online nominations will start 1st April 2023 and registrations will then open from 1st May 2023.

Before registering for an award category, nominees must read the category descriptions and terms and conditions to ensure they are eligible. To qualify for the awards and to be recognised as a winner, you must attend the awards event in your state. You may have a representative replace you in special circumstances (such as covid) but this is subject to agreement with us in writing.

Once receipt of your registration form and payment has been received, your participation will be confirmed.

It is mandatory as a condition of entry to have the official nominated/peoples choice/winner logo on your website for a minimum of 6 months and be linked to www.whatson4kids.com.au/awards. These logos will be forwarded to you as the campaign commences. Please note that tweaking or altering the logo in any way is not permitted.

Registration will be deemed to be an acceptance of these terms.

If a category does not receive enough nominations to proceed, it will be cancelled and any nominees in that category will be contacted and have the option to move to another, similar category

Voting & Judging Process

Once you are nominated you will receive an email with the link to register for the awards and select your award category/categories.

Award winners are determined for each category from a combination of online voting by the community to determine the “People’s Choice” winner and the “Judged Winner” via completing online written judging criteria.

This means there will be two winners for most categories.

The judged award categories will determine the strongest responses in the judging criteria and will be determined by the judges. The judges will use their own discretion if a second opinion is required.

Voting will commence on the 5th June 2023 and ends on 2nd July 2023.

Voting times may be subject to change.
What’s On 4 Kids decision in relation to all matters affecting the vote is final.
What’s On 4 Kids reserves the right to disqualify votes if it has reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent voting has occurred or it considers there has been any attempt to rig the vote.

Every care and consideration is made to ensure that nominating, voting and judging is fair.  Judging is completed by business owners familiar with the industry external to What’s On 4 Kids.

Email addresses and IP addresses of all online nominations and online voting are collected with online validation and random spot checks.

Online nominations and votes may not be included if What’s On 4 believe they are not genuine nominations or votes or if this has been incentivised in any way. This includes offering a discount or prize in return for voting (the exception is promoting our voting prize).

Registration Process

The right is reserved not to make an award in a particular category if minimum numbers have not been reached. Businesses in a cancelled category will be moved to a similar category.

Registration administration fees (including any card processing and/or booking fees apply) are payable upon registration. For current fees please refer to the registration form.

The decision of What’s On 4 is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
